IHIT investigates fatal attack in Surrey

Homicide investigators have been called to an attack in Surrey. B.C. that has left one person dead and another person injured.

B.C. Ambulance says they transported two people to hospitals after receiving a call around 5:40 p.m. PT on Wednesday.

The area aroundHansen andGrosvenorroadswas taped off while police investigated. There was a lone shoe and a backpack within the cordoned-off area along with several people sitting on the side of the road.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team tweeted one person is also in custody.
