When Vancouver'sMei Yuwas growing up, she loved arts and crafts but she didn't have anyone to teach her how to do them.

She learned to drawanimeon her own, and forced herself to be creative.

"I didn't have any art teachers, there was no YouTube, no Internet I had to teach myself how to do everything," she said.

Now she helps young people in similar situationsby producing a series of short videos that demonstrate how just about anyone can craft.
