Family, police ask for public's help locating missing Chilliwack mother

Police and the family of Shaelene Keeler Bell of Chilliwack, B.C., are asking for the public's help finding the missing woman.

The 23-year-old mother of twowas last seen on Jan.30 in the 9300-block of Edward Street.

"Police and family are concerned for Shaelene's well-being," saidCpl.Mike Rail, spokespersonfor the Upper Fraser Valley RCMP.

Alina Durham last spoke to her daughteron Saturday, the day she disappeared.

"She's beautiful inside and out. She's caring. She's loving. A devoted, devoted mother," said Durham about her daughter who is the mother of two young boys.

"This is extremely out of character for her to leave her two children for such a long period of time."

Police have linkeda grey 2021 Hyundai Tucsonwith B.C. licence plateCR9 75V to Keeler Bell.

Durham's family confirmed the vehicle belonged to her. It was found, the familysays, on Ballam Road Monday morning at the entrance tothe Peg Leg Bar.

Her phone and other belongings were found in the vehicle, according to the family.

Keeler Bell is described as:

• White female.
• Five feet two inches tall.
• 95 pounds.
• Bleachedblondhair and brown eyes.

Helicopter, divers search

Durham says helicopter are now searching the area while divers have been brought in to scour the nearby river. Searchers have had to wait until today, she says, due to weather.

Friends and family are also doing what they can to help locate Keeler Bell.
