More than two years after rioters poured through the streets of downtown Vancouver torching cars and looting stores, police are recommending another raft of charges.

At a news conference Tuesday morning, police announced they were recommending 118 new charges against 27 alleged rioters. This brings the total number of recommendedcharges to 1,204 against 352 suspected rioters.

"Our investigation is not ending," Vancouver police Supt. Dean Robinson said in a written release.

"For those rioters out there that believe they can wait us out and hide with anonymity, we will find you and you will be brought to justice."

One hundred and two admitted or convicted rioters have received sentences ranging from discharges to more than a year in jail.

A police release also says 25 have been charged with breaching conditions imposed either while awaiting trial or after sentence.
