Nardwuar the Human Serviette has been discharged from hospital after a suffering a stroke in Vancouver.

Nardwuarthe Human Serviette smiled and gave a big thumbs-upin a social media post on Saturday saying he was discharged from Vancouver General Hospital following a stroke.

According to the 47-year-old'ssocial media posts, he will be returning to the hospital for surgery in February.

The oddball, celebrity interviewer,whose real name is JohnRuskin, tweetedthathesuffered a stroke after aparty on Dec. 4 at theAstoriaPub.

The international music community took to social media to wish him a speedy recovery, including super producer and performerPharrellWilliams, known for his hit "Happy."

The nasally-voiced Vancouver native is known for his eccentricapproach to interviews, which he conducts in a tartan tam cap.

He also gotLiberal leader JustinTrudeauandNDP leader TomMulcairto play the Hip Flip gamewith him in the run-up to the federal election vote in October, but hadno such luck with then Conservative leader Stephen Harper.

His interview subjects include anattempt with Mikhail Gorbachev where he urged then Russian president to "Keep on Rockin'in the free world," in what he claimed was Russian.

He has also conversed withSnoopDogg,IggyPop andKaty Perry as well asRush'sGeddyLee and former U.S. president GeraldFord.
