Naskarz soapbox derby raises money for downtown Vancouver youth

Soapbox derby drivers young and old dashed down a makeshift speedway in Vancouver'sDowntown Eastside Friday.

Teams of four hit the pavement to raise money for Naskarz, a program that promotes social inclusion foryouth in the disadvantagedcommunity. Each team had a goal of raising $2,000.

The metal cartsprovided to the teams were built with the help of theyouth in the Naskarz program itself.
