Dude Bike Repair? What would you name Vancouver's newest park?

'Dude Chilling' is already taken but the hope is Vancouver's newest park can find a name that is as popular and beloved.

The city is asking residentsto pitch potential names for the new green space at Yukon Street and 17th Avenue.

The former residential lotfeatures a garden, playground, and benches, along with a unique public bikerepair stationhandy for cyclists using theadjacent Yukon bikeway.

A public information session will be held at the yet-to-be named park Wednesday, Oct. from 8 a.m. PT to 11:30 a.m PT.

The winning name will be chosen by the Vancouver Park Board as part of the Name Your Park initiative.

Currently, 22 of the city's230 parks are nameless.
