Rick Hansen reconquers steep B.C. challenge

Rick Hansen revisited a steep hill in Port Moody, B.C., on Friday that was one of the toughestchallengesof his original Man in Motion tour 25 years ago.

"Gonna give it a good shot," Hansen said as he warmed up at the foot of Thermal Drive. "I figure, at 54, I can only give it a good shot."

The1.6-kilometre hill is considered a killer walk, let alone trying to do it in a wheelchair.

As the CBCs Deborah Goble reports, this time, Hansen had even more company along to make the climb with him.
