Vancouver Police investigate South Vancouver shooting

Vancouver police officers were called to South Vancouver after multiple 911 calls.

Officers arrived on scene just after midnight after multiple 911 calls from residents

York Regional Police say they have arrested a man wanted on a Canada-warrant for first degree murder in a Vaughan shooting that left another man dead.
No arrests have been made and Vancouver Police say there are no suspects in connection with the incident. (The Canadian Press)

Vancouver Police were called to a residential area at East 59th Avenue and Fraser Street at 12:30 a.m. PT Wednesday after receiving several 911 calls from people who said they heard shots fired.

When officers arrived, they found a black SUV riddled with bullet holes.

No one was in the vehicle at the time of the shooting and police say no one was injured.

Vancouver Police say there are no suspects, but they are asking witnesses to contact them.

The investigation is ongoing.
