Woman pleads guilty in Surrey drunk-driving death

The woman charged in the drunk-driving death of Surrey, B.C., softball coach Kassandra Kaulius, 22, last year has pleaded guilty to three charges.

The woman charged in the drunk-driving death of Surrey, B.C.,softball coach Kassandra Kaulius, 22, last year has pleaded guilty to three charges.

Natasha Leigh Warren, 34,was charged with impaired driving causing death, dangerous driving causing death and failure to stop at the scene of an accident.

Kaulius was on her way home from a softball game in May 2011 when her car was struck by Warren's van after she left a Vancouver Canucks celebration. The university student died at the scene.

Warren tried to flee, but was arrested by police a short distance away.
