Surrey RCMP investigate fourth shooting in four days

Surrey RCMP are investigating a targeted shooting that sent one man to hospital Tuesday evening.

The shooting happened around11:10 p.m.,near a home in the 7700 block of 155th Street.

When officers arrived, they found an injured manwhowas later transported to hospital in stable condition.

This incident marks the fourth shootingin Surreyinjust four days.

A dark coloured SUV was seen driving quickly away from the areashortly after the incident. At around 2 a.m. police also towed away awhite sedan that was taped off at the scene.

The residential area was closedseveral hours early Wednesday morning during the investigation, as officers conducted neighbourhood canvassing.
