Surrey RCMP investigate overnight shooting

No one was injured after shots were fired in the Port Kells area of Surrey early Sunday morning.

Surrey RCMP are investigating a shooting that took place early Sunday.

Residents called 911 after hearing shots fired near 187 Street and 88 Avenue, in the Port Kells area of the city.

They said they heard as many as threegunshots just after 3:00 a.m. PT

Investigators were on the scene gathering evidence for several hours overnight.

Police said no one was injured, and it's too early to tell if the incident was targeted.
