Surrey shooting sends 2 men to hospital

Two men were taken to hospital with apparent gunshot wounds after a shooting in Surrey, B.C., according to police.

Surrey RCMPsay it happened on Friday night, just before 10 p.m. PT, in the5700 block of152 Street.

Police had 152 Street fromHighway 10 to Panorama Drive blocked-offbehind yellow tape for several hours,as they investigated the incident. Dozens of evidence markers could be seen on the street in front of a home.

It's not known how seriously the shooting victims were injured, and police had not immediately identified either of the men.

Surrey RCMP say the attack doesn't appear to be random. It's believed the men were targeted, but police don't know if this shooting is connected to 17 other shootings thought to be related to a drug turf war.

Police are looking for a dark-coloured sedan, which is believed to have fled the scene after the shooting.
