Vancouver Pride Parade wows with colourful outfits and vibrant energy

Downtown Vancouver was lit up with rainbows, glitter and parade marchers who dressed for the occasion on Sunday.

The Vancouver Pride Parade buzzedwith loud, boisterous energy on Sundayfuelled by electrifying music and outfits that were a feast for the eyes and I was there for all of it, capturingthe parade onFacebookLive, includingPrime Minister JustinTrudeau'shistoric participation.

Many wereinspired to dressin their most colourful clothesforthe annual parade, which strives to include people from all communities.

The CBC Vancouverteam proudly showed its colours and before the march began at noon, the team was held in a staging area on Thurlowby Robson Street where they took a 360 degree photo.
