Vancouver police set to auction bikes, TVs, gold, and toothpaste

Today the public gets the chance to preview what's on offer at the Vancouver police auction this weekend, which includes recovered bikes, gold, TVs, tools and toothpaste.

As usual, the auction includes an eclectic array of goods, such as gold, jewelry, mandolins, skateboards, TVs, razor blades, toothpaste and stamp collections.

No one can bid until Saturday, when the auction starts at 9 a.m. PT at Able Auctions in Vancouver. There is no online bidding.

The preview is free, but it costs $10 to register for the actual auction, and photo ID is required.
