Advance polling opens today in the Westside-Kelowna riding as Christy Clark has a chance to join WAC Bennett and his son, Bill Bennett, as the third premier elected in the Okanagan region.

Clark is running in a byelection created when Liberal Ben Stewart gave up his seat to create a vacancy after Clark was defeated in her Vancouver riding on May 14th.

Clark is being challenged by Kelowna-area candidates including the NDP's Carole Gordon, Conservative Shawn Upshaw, a B.C. Vision hopeful and four Independents.

Advance polls run from now until Saturday, between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. PT, at three churches around Kelowna and West Kelowna, and at a West Kelowna hotel, with voting day set for one week from today.
