Whatever is killing thousands of sea stars seems to be spreading

It started at Whytecliffe Park, when a local diver noticed the ocean floor littered with decaying dead sea stars.

Researchers believed it was an isolated event, but it now appears more sea stars, also known as starfish, are dying in other bodies of water.
