4th man in Bolsa triple murder gets 14 years

Thefourth man charged in the 2009 New Years Day triple murder at the Bolsa restaurant in Calgary was sentenced to 14 years for his role in the killings Friday.

With time served, Nicholas Hovanesian's sentence will amount to another six years and 11 monthsbehind bars.

Hovanesian pleaded guilty last year to kidnapping Aaron Bendle and accessory after the fact to murder. He was originally charged with three counts of first-degree murder but agreed to plead guilty to the lesser charges.

The shooting in Calgarys southeast was part of an escalating feud between rival gangs Fresh Off The Boat and FOB Killers.

Sanjeev Mann, Aaron Bendle and bystander Keni Sua were shot and killed at the Vietnamese restaurant. Bendle hadbeen kidnapped as bait to lure Mann,who was hisassociate anda known gang member, to the restaurant.

Three other men have been sentenced to lifefor their roles in the triple slaying.Nathan Zuccherato and Michael Roberto were found guiltyof three counts of first-degree murder.Real Honorio was found guiltyof two counts of first-degree murder.
