Air Canada flight diverted to Lethbridge after hail damage

An Air Canada flight from Toronto to Calgary was diverted to Lethbridge Saturday afternoon after its windshield was damaged from hail.

144 passengers given ground transport to Calgary, no reported injuries

An Air Canada flight from Toronto to Calgary was diverted to Lethbridge Saturday afternoon after hail damaged itswindshield.

Spokesperson Angela Mah saidflight AC1159, which is an A320 plane, had 144 passengers on board.

"The captain diverted to the closest airport and the flight landed at Lethbridge Airport normally and without issue," Mah said in an emailed statement.

She said ground transportation wasarranged to take the passengers to Calgary.

There were no reported injuries.
