A new poll suggests the Wildrose Party would garner the most votes if a provincialelection was held right now.

The poll byMainstreetTechnologiesgives Wildrose 33 per cent support, followed by the NDP at 26 percent and the PCs in third place with 20 per cent. But when it comes toparty leaders, NDP Premier Rachel Notley still leads the pack, with an approval rating of 50 per cent.

Wildrose Leader Brian Jean, who was attending the party's western-themedbarbecue on Thursday night, said the results weren't surprising.

"I don't believe Albertans are satisfied with the current government, and they are seeing first-hand some of the situations and some of the legislation they are bringing in, which are counterintuitive to what most Albertans believe."

The June 30poll surveyed a random sample of slightly more than3,000 Albertans on landlines and cellphones. The margin of error is plus or minus 1.79 percentage points, 19 times out of 20.
