Aubrey Levin's wife charged with obstruction of justice

Erica Levin, the wife of a former court-appointed psychiatrist who was found guilty on three counts of sexual assault against male patients, has now been charged with obstruction of justice.

Erica Levin, the wife ofaformer court-appointed psychiatristwho wasfound guilty on three counts of sexual assaultagainst male patients, has now been charged with obstruction of justice.

Police arrested the 69-year-old womanagainThursday.

She'saccused of approaching a jurorat her husband's trial and offering the woman cash to acquit him.

In a written letter to the judge, the jurorallegesthat Erica Levin tried to hand over an envelope with cashwhile repeatedly saying "my husband is not guilty."

Police say their investigation didn't turn up any evidence that other jurors were approached.

Aubrey Levin was sentenced to five years in jail after being found guilty last month.

Erica Levin was released from custody pending her court appearance next Thursday.

The maximum sentence for obstruction of justice is 10 years.
