Parks Canada is warning visitors to steer clear of a wolf that is bold and lacking fear of humans in its searchto fill its tummy.

It has approachedbackcountry campsites and sought human food rewards, the agency said.

The animal has been observed in an area that includes Twin Lakes to the northwest over to the Red Earth Creek Trailhead, the Borgeau Trailhead, Healy Meadows, Sunshine Village and more.

"Special caution is recommended when travelling in this area due to a bold wolf in the area," Parks Canada said in a bulletin.

The agency is urging visitors to safely store food and garbage, keep children and pets supervised and avoid feeding or approaching wildlife.
