Bear warnings issued for parks near Canmore

Parts of the Bow Valley on the west side of Canmore have been closed due to bear activity in the area.

An area near Canmore hasbeen closeddue to an increase in bear activity.

The province has closed theQuarry Lakeand Grassi Lakes day use area and surrounding trailswest of Canmoredue togrizzly and black bearsfeeding on berries in the area.

Bear sightingshave also led Alberta Parks and Wildsmartto issue warningsfor theCanmore Nordic Centre and theLegacy Trailbetween Canmore and Banff National Park.
