Vandals damage beehives, kill bees in southern Alberta

Coaldale RCMP are looking for whoever was responsible for damaging a number of beehives in Lethbridge County in June.

Coaldale RCMP are looking for whoever was responsible for damaging a number of beehives in Lethbridge County in June.

Police say someone got onto the private property south of the Oldman River near Range Road 215 sometime between the morning of June 25 and the evening of June 28.

The driver, or drivers, useda small vehicle or largeoff-roadvehicle to destroyseveral pallets containing beehives killing the bees inside.

The police are looking for any information to identify those responsible.
