Southern Alberta constable accused of sexually assaulting female officer while on duty

A 10-year constable with a southern Alberta police service is facing two sexual assault charges, after a female officer said she was touched inappropriately while on duty.

A 10-year constable with a southern Alberta police service is facing two sexual assault charges.

A female officer with the Blood Tribe Police Service said Const. Bradley Chief Body touched her inappropriately while both were on duty in twoseparateFebruary 2017 incidents.

Chief Body was arrested and charged Tuesday after an investigation by the Alberta Serious Incident Response Team (ASIRT).

He issuspended with pay and scheduled to appear in a Lethbridge court on Aug. 21.

The Blood Tribe First Nation covers an area from Cardston to Lethbridge.
