Bowness gas leak forces some residents from homes

Some residents of Bowness were forced to evacuate their homes on Tuesday after an excavator ruptured a gas line in the northwest Calgary community.

The gas line was adjacent to a driveway in the 5800 block of Bow Crescent.

ATCO has now shut off the leaking pipe and nearby residents being allowed to return home.
