Boy, 4, drowns in Alberta pond

A four-year-old boy has drowned in a pond south ofOlds, Alta.

RCMP say the child was found by a family member, face down in the pond at a rural property Sunday evening. He was taken to Alberta Children's Hospital but later died.

Police say the boy and his family are from the U.S. Theywere in the area for a family reunion.

Olds is an hour's drive north of Calgary.
