Collision between C-Train and vehicle snarls traffic downtown

A collision involving the C-Train and a vehicle on Seventh Avenue and Sixth Street S.W. led totraffic disruptions downtown Wednesdaymorning.

Calgary Transit brought in shuttle buses to get passengers through the core while the collision, which happened just after 6 a.m., was cleared away.

Service resumed along Seventh Avenuejust before 7 a.m., Calgary Transittweeted.

The driver of the vehicle was taken to Foothills hospital with minor injuries.
