Calgary police hope to identify the two men shown in the video in what police in an alleged attempt to yank an ATM out of a restaurant lobby.

Calgary police want to identify two men captured on surveillance videoin what could be called aHollywood-inspired heist attempt.

Video released by Calgary police shows two men tethering an ATM to their vehicle and attempting to yank it out of a Boston Pizza lobby by driving away.

The video shows one man enter the establishmentat 2836 Memorial Drive S.E.around 11:20 p.m. Tuesday.

He loops a yellow strap around theATM in the restaurant as asecond man in the background assists.

The culprits then exit the lobby, get in their vehicleand start to pull away.

In the next seconds of the video, the yellow strap pulls taught, flinging the door to the restaurant wide open as a piece of unidentified debris flies across the screen, but the ATM barely budges.

The vehicle's exterior lights flash on, and the video comes to an end.
