Calgary police investigating after man found dead in downtown apartment

Police are investigating after a man was found dead late Tuesday at a downtown apartment building.

Man believed to be in his mid-20s

Police are investigating after a man was found dead late Tuesday at a downtown apartment building.

Officers were called at about 9:40 p.m. to the 200 block of Sixth Avenue S.E. where they found the man inside a residence, police said in a release.

The man is believed to be in his mid-20s.

The homicide unit is investigating.

Police have not provided any other details.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police or contact Crime Stoppers.

An autopsy is scheduled for Friday.
