Calgary has been a destinationforsome impressive visiting dignitaries and celebrities over the years, so it's likely no great surprise that the city has some high-class accommodations to match.

CBC took a peek inside some of Calgary's most expensive hotel rooms. Take a look in the video above.

Note that the prices aren't set in stone, and fluctuate based on time of year and the hotel's capacity.

Hyatt Regency

The Hyatt's most luxurious suite starts at $2,500 a night for 1,600 square feet of space to relax in. The booking includes access to the Regency Club lounge, breakfast, evening hors d'oeuvresand a personal concierge service.

Fairmont Palliser

At $2,500 a night, this 900-square-foot suite is the lap of luxury. Booking it nets you breakfast for twoand a panoramic view of the city.

Marriott Downtown

The downtown Marriott 756-square-foot suites range from $479 to $900 per night.
