Calgary Folk Music Festival announces 2014 lineup

The Calgary Folk Fest has announced its lineup for this years event.

Headliners include Andrew Bird andthe Hands of Glory, Rufus Wainwright, Bruce Cockburn, Amos Lee,Fishbone and Hey Rosetta!

• Thursday:Andrew Bird andthe Hands of Glory and Hey Rosetta!
• Friday:Rufus Wainwright, Amos Lee and Fishbone.
• Saturday:Bruce Cockburn and Patty Griffin.
• Sunday:HYDRA (Feist, Snowblink, AroarA),The Jayhawks and Matt Andersen and the Mellotones.

The festivaltakes place from July 24 to 27 at Prince's Island Park.

"The Calgary Folk Fest celebrates its 35th anniversary with some of the brightest lights in in contemporary folk, imaginative indie, sophisticated soul and explorative world music," said festival organizers in a release.

There will be 70 artists from 12 countries.

A limited number of early bird passes, plus single-day tickets, go on sale at 10a.m. MT Thursday.
