Crash kills motorcyclist in southwest Calgary
A motorcycle rider in his early 30s was killed Saturday afternoon in a crash involving an SUV at the intersection of 101st Street and Lower Springbank Road S.W.

A motorcycle rider in his early 30s was killed Saturday afternoon in a crash involving an SUV at the intersection of 101st Street and Lower Springbank Road S.W.
Calgary emergency crews were called to the scene just after 1 p.m.
The male riderwas declared dead at the scene.
The female driver of the SUV was not injured.
The intersection was closed for several hours while police investigated and is now back open.
