Northeast Calgary home destroyed in fire

A home in Calgary's northeast was completely destroyed in a fire on Saturday.

A home in Calgary's northeast was completely destroyed in a fire on Saturday.

Fire crews responded to the call at Falton Rise N.E. at4:10 p.m. and found a house engulfed in smoke and flame, according to the Calgary Fire Department.

Three adults and a child escaped the house without injury.

When crews got the fire under control they located and shut down a "free flowing gas line" inside the home, however the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
