Suspect in violent double killing in Panorama Hills to be charged when 'medically fit,' police say

The suspect in a double fatality at a Panorama Hills home on the weekend will be charged when he is "medically fit," police say.

A man suspected of killing two men in a violent confrontation at a Calgary home on the weekend will be charged when is 'medically fit,' police say.

The deadly assault happened early Saturday morning at a house in Panorama Hills, inthe 1-100 block of Panamount Common N.W.

When emergency crews arrived they found two men dead in the house, another in critical, life-threatening condition and a fourth man in serious condition.

The suspect in the case remains in serious condition in hospital and will be charged when he is medically fit, police said.

A woman who was in the house was not injured and is being interviewed by police.

Police saythey are not looking for additional suspects. The homicide unit is leading the investigation.

Neighbours say the deceased men and one of the injured men worked for a cleaning service.

On Saturday, a manager of the company said he had been told by a relative of the family that two of his employees had been killedand a third injured.

He says the pair who died were a father and son and the father had worked with the company for 15 years. His twin boys worked with him.

The victims' names and other details about the incident will be released after the autopsies, set for Monday, have been completed, police say.
