Calgary police investigating shots fired in Beltline area

Police can't find a victim or suspect but are interviewing witnesses after receiving multiple reports of gunshots fired near a Mac's convenience store in the Beltline area.

Calgary police can't find a suspect or victim but a large investigation is underway in the 1200 block of 12th Avenue S.W. afterreceivingmultiple reports of shots fired in the area.

Traffic was affected Thursday afternoon as several streets were cordoned off with a large police presence.

Police tell CBC News the public is not at risk, but they are seeking witnesses to what happened.
