An investigation was launched in November 2015 after the anti-corruption unit received a tip saying a constable may have seized marijuana while on duty, but then failed to dispose of it according to procedure.

RobertCumming, 43, was arrested June 3 and charged with breach of trust, theft under $5,000 and possession of a controlled substance.

An investigation by the professional standards section will begin once the criminal process is complete.
