Calgary police seek help in homicide probe

Calgary police are asking for help from anyone who may have information about the city's latest homicide.

Monday night, just after 8 p.m., police and EMSarrived inthe area of 22 Avenue and 17 Street S.E., where a passerby had found an unconscious man. The man, believed in his 30s, was taken to hospital where he died.

An autopsy early Tuesday confirmed the death as a homicide. The victim has not yet been identified and cause of death is not being released.

Police are urging anyone who may have information to contact them.
