Beltline shooting has Calgary police seeking person of interest

Calgary police are hoping someone recognizes a man and car they believe are connected to a downtown shooting last Thursday.

Calgary police are hoping someone recognizes a man and car they believe areconnected to a downtown shooting last Thursday.

Police were called to the 1200 block of 12th Avenue S.W. near a convenience store around 5 p.m.

A suspectwas seen getting out of a late-modelfour-door Hyundai Sonata before shots were fired at agrey Ford Taurus.

The person then fledthe scene, but there were no reported injuries.

Police have released images of aman, who they are calling a person of interest in the case, and the car in question.
