Arrest made after violent sexual assault in Calgary
A man is in custody after a woman suffered a violent sexual assault while at work in a Calgary business Saturday morning.

Aman is in custody after a woman suffered a violent sexualassaultwhile at work in a Calgary businesson Saturday morning.
Police said in a release they were called to the 10,000block of Macleod Trail S. about 8:30 a.m. where they found the victim and arrested an offender at the scene.
She was taken to hospital where she remains in stable condition.
Charges are now pending and the sex crimes unit is investigating.
Police are not releasing where the woman was working to protect her privacy.
The man arrested is known to police, said Staff Sgt. Tom Hanson, and police don't believe he knew the victim before the attack.
