Calgary weather: Rain in the forecast for May long weekend

Pack the rain gear if you're planning on camping this long weekend as parts of southern Alberta will see a wet, below seasonal start to the weekend.

"Saturday will be the wettest day of the long weekend, but once Sunday rolls around we'll see the return of sunshine for the remainder of the weekend," said CBC Calgary weather specialist Craig Larkins.

"Holiday Monday is actually looking like the best day of the weekend with forecast highs sitting in the low teens."

Overnight temperatures on Sunday and Monday will be a tad chillyhovering around the freezing markespecially if you're camping.
