That means postal workers are in "all-hands-on-deck" mode across the country.

"We are now delivering one million parcels a day, which we believe will continue until Christmas," said Canada Post spokesmanPhil Legault.

"We've also been delivering on weekends, with three million packages expected to be delivered on Sundays alone."

Deadline for parcels approaching

To make thathappen, Canada Post hires 2,500 seasonal workers and rents 900 vehicles.

If you haven't sent your parcel yet, it's not too late.

Tuesday,Dec. 20, was the deadline to send a regular letter for the holidays across Canada.

But Canada Post says Dec. 22 is the last day to get a parcel mailed and under the tree before Christmas, although you may have touse Priority or Express Post services for guaranteeddelivery.
