Carstairs gas bar armed robbery has police on the hunt for male suspect

An armed robbery at a Carstairs, Alta., gas bar, believed to be connected with two others, has the RCMP searching for a male suspect.

Suspect believed to be involved in 2 other nearby robberies

An armed robbery at a Carstairs, Alta., gas bar, believed to be connected to two others, has the RCMP searching for a male suspect.

Police responded to the scene Saturday at about 9 p.m. They say a man wearing a disguise with what's believed to be a firearm demanded money and merchandise from the gasbar employee.

He got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

He's described as a white man, about five-feet-six-inches tall, wearing a black hoodie, a hat, dark jeans, white shoes and sunglasses. He's believed to be between 20 and 25 years of age.

Police believe the suspect and vehicle are involved in two other robberies on Saturday and early Sunday.
