Man falls to his death at construction site in southeast Calgary
When crews arrived they determined the man, thought to be a construction worker, was dead. It's not clear the exact distance of the fall, but EMS said the man fell from the roof of a three- or four-storey building.
EMS determined the man was dead when they arrived on scene
A man is dead after falling from a building under construction in Calgary's southeast on Monday.
EMS said the call came in around 3:15 p.m. for an incident on Mahogany Mews S.E.
When crews arrived, they determined the man, thought to be a construction worker, was dead. It's not clear the exact distance of the fall, but EMS said the man fell from the roof of a three- or four-storey building.
EMS handed over control of the scene to Calgary police and Occupational Health and Safety.
