A listing on a real estate website says the "unique, one-of-a-kind restaurant" is up for grabs in the downtown area of High River, Alta.,about 65 kilometres south of Calgary.

The ad says that the business is for sale for $365,000, or for rent for $351 per month.

The premier's office says Smith and her husband purchased the restaurant in 2017.

Press secretary Sam Blackett says it was a personal goal of Smith's husband to rescue and restore the rail car in memory of his father, who was a dining car waiter.

Blackett says Smith's husband also wanted to contribute to the economic recovery of the community following flooding in 2013.

"He feels those goals have been achieved and after six years, he has decided to move onto new endeavours," Blackett said in an email Wednesday.

On Sunday, two days before the real estate listing was posted online, Smith tweeted that she went to help out at the Dining Car at High River Station.

"This weekend, the dishwasher broke down, so I went in for a shift," said the post.
