Flood victims in Alberta who still want disaster assistance from the provincial government have until the end of Saturday to get their applications in.

The deadline to make a claim for uninsurable flood damage is 11:59 p.m. MT on Saturday.

People who are unsure if they're eligible should still get an application in, the province said in a release.

Applicants are encouraged to submit supporting documents as quickly as possible, but only the initial application must be in by Nov. 30.

Saturday is also the deadline to apply for relocation compensation and temporary housing registration.

Flood mitigation permits have to be submitted to the province by Dec. 30.
