Bylaw officer bitten by dog in southwest Calgary

The Calgary Community Standards department is investigating after one of its bylaw enforcement officers was bitten by a dog on Tuesday.

The Calgary Community Standards department is investigating after one of its bylaw enforcement officers was bitten by a dog on Tuesday.

Officers were responding to a call that a dog had attacked another canine in the Rosscarrockat the600 block of 41st StreetS.W.

One of the petsescaped and bit the bylaw officer, officials say.

That dog was seized by Animal Services, and the bylaw officer was treated for his injuries.
