Dover hit and run sends pedestrian to hospital

Paramedics rushed a pedestrian to hospital Thursday morning after a hitandrun in the Dover area.

Police said the collision happened near the intersection of34th Street and 30th Avenue S.E. shortly before 8 a.m., and the vehicle left the scene.

The victim, a man in his 30s, was taken to Foothills hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injurieswhile police searched for the driver.

Police said preliminary reports had them looking for a white van.
