Dover shooting suspect arrested by Calgary police

Police have arrested a man in relation to one of two shootings that took place in Calgary on Tuesday.

Charges are pending against one man, while the victim recovers in hospital

Police have arrested a man in relation to one of two shootings that took place in Calgary on Tuesday.

The arrest comes after police were called to a home in the 3000 block of Dover Ridge Drive S.E. at approximately 1a.m. where they found a man in his 30s who had been shot.

The victim was transported to hospital in non-life-threatening condition.

Police arrested a man in the northwest earlyTuesday afternoonand charges are pending.

It's not believed the shooting was random.

The other shooting took placejust before 1 a.m. in the 700 block of 67th Avenue S.W. in Kingsland. No suspects have been arrested in relation to that incident.
