Calgary police investigating southwest shooting that sent 1 to hospital

A man was rushed to hospital early Saturday morning after a shooting in southwest Calgary.

Police were called to the 3200 block of Elbow Drive S.W. around 5:20 a.m. after receiving numerous reports ofgunshots.

At the scene, police say they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds.

The victim was rushed to hospital in stable condition.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.
